[89] Source: Wasatch County Book, page 502 states: John Wesley Witt was driven out of Nauvoo in 1846. For the next four years he worked on river steamers, up and down the Mississippi River. He crossed the plains to Utah in 1850(at about the same time that Elisha and Sara Jane and children arrived there). He married Lovina Bigelow in 1851 and moved to Heber Valley, Utah in 1859 and died in 1907.
