NOTES: I have a letter written to Annie, from a lady names Clarice Howar d Green. It stated that she was the grand daughter of "Abrah" and Amand a Howard. She was the daughter of William Finis Howard and Elizabeth Thom pson. She was born abt 1891. In this letter she mentions "Aunt Lou Elli ot". "Grannie S" wrote in her notes that Lou married a Gibson or a South erland and Catherine married a Southerland or a Gibson. (She wrote it on e way one time and reversed it on another note.) No mention of a Elliot . this Clarice Green also said "Abram" was some kind of a tax collecto r and he had to ride horseback to Dallas with the money.
