Howard is listed on a huge family stone with Cora J. and George H. Howard. So I assume he is their son. Hugh is buried in old section of Newbern Cem., row 29, in Lucas Co., Iowa Researcher: Georgenia Stewart, 11 Nov 1998.

Mr. Stewart was born October 18, 1853 in Kanab, Utah the son of Levi and Marjorie Wilkerson Stewart. He had been active in the Church, as well as being a prominent member of the southern Utah community. He served on three missions for the Church, the first among the Navajo Indians in the southwest and two later missions in New Zealand, acting as president on his second mission from 1890 until 1894. He was chosen to represent the southern Utah counties at the first two sessions of the territorial assemblies.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary A. Udall Stewart; seven sons, William T. Jr., Sumner, David, Ray, Carlos, Paul and Marion Stewart, all of Alamo; five daughters, Mrs. Maud Udall, Lehi; Mrs. Tamar Hamlin, Kanab; Mrs. Fannie Fullerton, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Margie Steele and Mrs. Mary Lee. Alamo; a brother, Brigham F. Stewart. Stafford, Ariz.; three sisters, Mrs. Ella K. Udall Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Anna Riggs and Mrs. Ethel Henrie of Alamo; 60 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren
