!CENSUS: 1860 Census of Putnam Co., Tennessee, 26-13, lists: Harrison ( 43), Sarah (39), Celia (19), Henry (16), Martha (15), Jacob (10), Elizabe th (8), Sarah (7), (Mary), and Ervinca (3). Researcher: Georgenia Stewa rt, 16 March 1999.

NOTES: Sarah Jemima lost an arm as a child in a sorghum mill accident. So meone threw her bonnet in the rollers and she reached for it and her ar m was crushed. Her husband, Zachariah Coleman, lost an arm in the Civil W ar. A family member called them a "one-armed" couple. Between the two o f them, there wasn't anything they couldn't do on the farm .
Sarah was buried in the Coleman Family Cemetery on the John Agee Farm, La urel Hill, Dekalb County, Tennessee. Zach Coleman built a rock wall aroun d her grave before he moved to Arkansas .
After Sarah died, Zachariah married Amanda Patton and they moved from Ten nessee to Hunter, Arkansas by covered wagon. They were accompanied by hi s daughter and son-in law, Susan Frances and James Monroe Prentice.
