Notes

Edw'd Gage Bradford lived under this name for most of his adult life, bu t he was born under the name of Edward Gerald Delano Minot. The change o f his name change was, as far as we can ascertain was never done legally . His father's name while married to his mother was Charles Minot. The na me Charles Minot was a name used by his father for a period of time, i.e . during the courting of his mother, the subsequent marriage, until disco very. His father's name in reality was Charles Minot Gage. He was marrie d to another woman during this entire time and lived a bigamous life fo r a period of time, we think. NOTES: I have found 6 children listed on public family trees on ancestry. com. It is listed that Nancy Stewart has 6 children and 4 alive at the ti me of the 1900 census. I have only been able to find three of her childre n through the help of census records. The names listed for the possibl e 6 children are aws followed: Louella Stewart (1872), Sarah Stewart (187 5), Montie H (Stewart) Connelly (1877-1941), Maud Stewart (1879), Jesse S tewart (1881), William Stewart (1883).
