Rebecca Stewart Forbis was born at Edna, Johnson, Arkansas, on 20 Jan 18 70, the oldest child of Christopher Columbus and Frances Marie Acord; gra nddaughter of William Marion and Luesa Luvina Alis (Swift) Stewart; and g reat granddaughter of John Dean and Hardenia B. (Clough) Swift. Rebecc a Stewart Forbis lived in Johnson County, Arkansas until she was 19 year s of age. She knew her two grandmothers personally. She also know her g reat grandmother Jennie Stewart. She knew many of their children who mad e the wagon trip from Henry County, Tennessee to Johnson County, Arkansa s about 1835.
