!CENSUS: The 1850 Census of Overton Co., Tennessee, 655-656 lists: Celunr Stewart, (27),male, born in TN, blacksmith; Dorinda, (26), born in TN; Isaac, (6), born in TN; Martha (4) born in TN; Louisa (2); born in TN; Sarah, 5/12 months, born in TN; Nancy (75) born in TN; and Francis Bilbrey (22) male, born in TN, Farmer. According to the age, this Nancy Stewart could have been the sister of Jesse Stewart, Ceburn's father. Nancy never married so her name still would have been Stewart. Researcher: Georgenia Stewart, 11 May 1999.
NOTES: Nancy Stewart never married. After her death, Urban Van Stewart, the son of her brother, William went to the temple and had a vicarious marriage done for her. She was sealed to Urban Van Stewart after her death. Researcher: Georgenia Stewart.

[305] HISTORY: He had land south of the Hudson-Athens ferry slip as well as in the Kinderhook area. In 1705 he was a deacon in the Lutheran Church and in 1720 he was listed as a freeholder in Claverack. He was an Indian interpreter at all of the great meetings for many years. On Oct 24, 1724, he deeded property to his "sons, Gerrit and Jacob, who have dutifully assisted and supported me in my old age."
