Woman, Active In L.D.S. Church, Dies

Mrs. Mary Jane Granger Duffin, widow of James G. Duffin, at one time a pr ominen Salt Lake real estate man, died Sunday at her home, 1606 Princeto n avenue, following a year's illness.
Mrs. Duffin was born on June 29, 1863, in Plain City, the daughter of Chr istopher and Mary Salkield Granger, Utah pioneers. Before coming to Sal t Lak in 1914, she had lived in Toquerville and in Provo. Mrs. Duffin wa s active in the Relief society of the L. D. S. Thirty-third ward.
Surviving are seven sons, J. Franklin, Clarence, Cyril, George, Stanley a nd Owe Duffin, Salt Lake, and Spencer Duffin, Provo; two daughters, Mrs . Florence D. Neeley and Mrs. Maurine D. James, Salt Lake; 21 grandchildr en; three sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Lamb, Alamo, Nev.; Mrs. Martha Bringhur st, Pocatello, Idaho, and Mrs. Ethel Stewart, Los Angeles, and two brothe rs, Benjamin Granger, Salt Lake, and George Granger, Mesquite, Nev.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:30 p. m. in the Thirty-thir d ward chapel, with Bishop Joseph L. Wirthlin officiating. Friends may ca ll at the hom Wednesday from 10 a. m. until noon. Burial will take plac e in City cemetery.
