Edwina was born in 7 Apr 1921 in Roswell, Georgia the daughter of Homer and Roxie (Thomas) Long. She had one brother Parks, and one sister, Flora. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1942 and went to work in Crawford W. Long Hospital in Atlanta. She was a dietican and is know for her excellent cooking. Edwina and her husband, Delbert, have lived in Nevada all their married life.
