Homer Parks Long and Roxie Savilla Thomas

Homer Parks Long and Roxie Savilla Thomas are the parents of Edwina Savilla Long who married Delbert Clair Stewart. Homer and Roxie lived in Roswell, Georgia all their lives. Homer was a merchant. Every Wednesday afternoon he would close down his store and take Edwina fishing. Afterwards they would get a chocolate ice cream cone. He loved to garden and always have an abundance of fresh vegetables. He will always be remember for his banana pudding. Roxie was a very tall, stately woman. She was an expert seamstress and also taught Edwina to sew. In her later years she suffered from severe arthiritis. Homer and Roxie died within months of each other.
