Melinda Howard was born 7 Nov 1816 in Silvercrest Madison Co., Illinois. She married Levi Stewart 7 Feb 1833. She endured all the persecutions of the LDS saints that were driven from Nauvoo. She died from phlebitis from childbirth complications of having twins. Three of her ten children preceeded her in death.
